Outside the resort
There is a lot to do outside the resort. If you love a drink or nice meal in a restaurant in Sucina (4km), visit beautiful nature areas or outdoor sporting, cultural visits, spend the day at the beach, Most things are 5 to 60 minutes from the resort by car.
Em's Bistro Sucina
We like this bistro very much. They serve a great breakfast, lunch, and dinner for a reasonable price and as Em's bistro is situated at the Plaza Arteaga in Sucina (beside the church), the terras is a great place to sit and see what happens in this small village.
Quiz Night at Em's Bistro every Monday night. Live music is also arranged often. And do not forget happy hour at 3 o'clock. link to Ems website
Los Gonovinos
There are several mountains in the vicinity of the resort. You can go hiking, running and mountain biking. Los Gonovinos is only 4 km from the resort. The views are impressive and especially in spring and autumn we advice you to really visit this area.
If you take the car there are several other nature parks, some with lakes that you can visit (see Tab Nature parcs).
Murcia
Murcia is the seventh city of Spain and is the capital of the Murcia region of the same name. The city is located on the Segura River and has a fairly mild climate. It is a lovely city to visit and the touristic spots are all close to plaza de las Flores where you can find several car parks. The city is located about 40 kilometers from the Costa Calida ('warm coast'), the eastern coast of Spain with its many sandy beaches.
Cartagena
In the region of Murcia is the port city of Cartagena with a Roman history. The city with over 215,000 inhabitants on the Costa Calida attracts many tourists every year, partly because of the cruise ships that dock in one of the most important ports in Spain. The inlet of Cartagena could be well guarded from two fortresses. In the 20th century, the mines in the region brought a lot of wealth to the city, so that the center contains many modernist houses.
Shopping in La Zenia
Shopping is also great in the cities mentioned, but you can also opt for the shopping center of La Zenia Boulevard. You can drive there from the resort within half an hour and a benefit is that the sea is close.
La Zenia consists of 161 000 square meters shops, restaurants, and attractions for young children. It has 150 shops. The big brands are available but also the small boutiques are located there.
